WHAT CHANGED: The points are given in relation to how close a player is to the highest score. e.g.: If there are 10 players, the first player with the highest score of 100.000 gets 10 points.
WHY CHANGE IT? The system i propose is almost the same as before: encouraging players to be engaged and all players to be rewarded for the fan of participating. I just wanted to give an equal
importance to the fact that someone achieves super great scores deserves a special recognition as well and encourages all of us to compete for an even better score.

Do you round up or down? Idea is good. Someone who nearly beat the first will get a lot of points, while a lone superstar gets way more points as the rest. As we can see happening currently.
What concerns me is there are only a handful of players that reach superhuman scores. So with such a big points margin they will run away with it again like before and with all this points sharing
for everyone mid table and below its gonna be hard to even fight for position then. Also if its to make things more even for the winners points its no different from before as its dependant on how
many play that week. Dont get me wrong i think you do a great job and im not trying to shoot you down. Maybe set a hard point for the win based on total no. of players on rosta then tier it down
e.g. at mo we have 23 registerd members so for Every week the winner gets 23pts. But if only 20 play then tier it down so 2nd gets 19, 3rd 18 and so on. That way great scores are still recognised.
More thoughts: with that scoring system it would be possible to give a fixed amount of points to the winner again. Main reason for the dynamic points were to give points to everyone.
Another possibility is to give a fixed amount of points for the share each one has at the accumulated points of the gang. Lets say 100 points overall, so everyone gets his percentage.
Example: A makes 50M, B 20M, C and D 15M each. Thats 100M summed up. A gets 50 points (for 50%), B 20 and the other two 15. Well a lot of possibilities, but what is everyone seeing as fair?
So what do you think is fair? Winner gets the most seem clear. Also for me it rings good, that everyone gets points. But based on the score or based on the rank? A weekly changing number?
How about old success (and points), is it discouraging to newcomers? Are daily points fair or should only count the final result? Possibilities are there, hard to make it right for everyone.

@Marc: If I understand you right, Punk would get 23 points and Fladder 16, everyone else goes on as in Hynas system. So you propose a bonus for the winner?
