    Yeah hero mode is super difficult. My advice would be get a sheild strait away, collect as many bottles as possible and stuff them with fairies and potions.

    Also make sure you run away from any fights and go nowhere near enemies if possible scoot fruits are helpful too! Oh and you can sometimes get the enemies to fight each other if you cant get past them

    Ugh yeah I hate that guy! I guess the trick would be to use the tornado rod as much as possible at least thats how I did it on hero mode also just keep slashing I guess!
