I think calling Meta Knight the 'Strongest warrior' is referencing him defeating Galacta Knight in KSSU. I guess Kirby beating his was just part of the True Arena, since he had to be there to replace Meta Knight.

When you think about it, people actually try to put chronology in certain Kirby games for their extra modes. The biggest reason is due to The True Arena - all three of them so far have had an exclusive boss only available in that mode. Marx Soul's appearance, for example, clearly takes place after Milky Way Wishes.

True. And from what I've heard, Sectonia Soul's appearance in this game's True Arena is a while after Hypernova Kirby 'killed' her.

It makes sense considering that it's likely that Dededetour also took place after the main Story Mode - Queen Sectonia DX is the only form of her that you see in that mode, and Soul of Sectonia is the form beyond which only appears in The True Arena. Though by the time you get to that fight, she would have been defeated 5 separate times before, 4 of them by Kirby! No wonder she went insane…

Also, Queen Sectonia DX is probably Sectonia's Mirror World counterart. Think about it- Sectonia is very vain, so she could have found the Dimension Mirror (It's located in the sky, after all.) and used it as a looking glass- Hence why Sectonia DX has a different colour scheme, like the other Mirror World counterparts.

There's a problem with that theory - ALL True Arena bosses have a different colour scheme, and all but one round is a fight from Dededetour. Only Shadow Dedede, Shadow Kirby and Dark Meta Knight are explicit Mirror World counterparts to the regular world. Taranza also clearly tried to reach out to Sectonia, but stopped after she became Soul of Sectonia.

Also, explain the alternate palettes of the bosses (and their proper upgrades) from Return to Dream Land and Super Star Ultra - none of these games mention or acknowledge the Dimension Mirror, and many of them are clearly not from there regardless. Take the original Masked Dedede, the Grand Doomer, Magolor Soul…do these guys come from the Mirror World?

Well, you have a point. The other bosses could have just been recoloured to make them stand out from their less powerful counterparts, though. But doesn't the fact the Dimension Mirror just happened to appear after Sectonia DX's defeat seem fishy, and that they explicitly say it was in her hall?

I'd imagine that the Dimension Mirror was how she was corrupted with vanity in the first place. We have no way to reliably explain much of the mirror's appearance or the backstory beyond what's been said in the game, but there's one theory that said that Sectonia would have easy access to the Dimension Mirror because Kirby and Meta Knight had to fly to the sky to find it.
