My first SSS rank! Is it just me or is triple S a bit excessive? It makes an A into a bad rank. Oh well, nice FFXI memories anyway!

I've goten five or more of those, it's unfathomably easy compared to the predecessor, where it was normally impossible to get higher than S, unless you unequipped everything. I've even gotten a "All Critical" on Roses of May, something I never managed in the original.

Yeah, I normally get double S or S so it seems like they got complaints about difficulty in the first one. I never played it but I do think it should at least be difficult to get the top ranks in any game.

Well, I'm guessing you're playing on Basic? Try Expert or Ultimate.

I'll give them a go, I'm just going through the 'story mode' at the moment, I think the difficulty is set for each stage.
