They released a 3 minute trailer for it about 9 hours ago! :D I have to say I am enjoying the way XIII plays quite a bit with the Paradigm shift things and the stagger effect.. I like RPGs that dont feel painfully slow and has a diverse range of characters that I dont despise (Hope comes to mind..) I also like the modern tales series quite a lot.. Is there any FF that play similarly to them?

The X series for battle system. X has a sphere grid like the crystarium and X-2, while I like to try abs repress the characters, has a similar and pretty fun paradigm like system. FFIX has quite a slow battle system (as in, it takes about 20-30 seconds to load) but I struggle to find a better cast. Plus its pretty diverse in both personality and the fact that there are only two playable humans

I haven't played the tales series, so I'm not sure what it's like. (By the way, were you saying Hope is a character you don't despise or you do?) Anyway, the characters might annoy you in X, but it's pretty fast paced and fun. I would go for X. IX is brilliant, but it's a throwback game and its hard to appreciate all the allusions if you haven't played the first 8.

Ah ok. It has a fast paced live action combat system (wow that sounds sorta nerdy heh) Ehh despise might be a bit strong to describe him as but I can say that I dislike him.. (!!! Is Sazh in Theatrhythm!?! :O) So ten is definitely a game I want then.. And I guess I will go to nine once I ave played a majority of the first 8 games then :)

The original Tactics is tougher but has a better plot than Tactics Advanced/Advanced 2 but I found them more fun. The DS CCs are the best imo. Dissidia butchered my favourite character but I still love it. The DS 4 isn't so great... the other versions are. 7 is a must play because it's 7. I've said about 9 and 10. 4 heroes is the sorta prequel to BD but not really.

FFXV is going to be like that. I don't like him either. But I've found some FF characters I hate more. (I don't think so... I liked Sazh...)

Ah then I shall have to add it to the list aswell! I am planing no getting Type-0 HD when it comes out and il try out XV aswell :DD ow could they have Hope in theatrhythm and not Sazh!?! :OO I could imagine his victory jump thing with baby chocobo poking out his fro :DDD

Really? Everybody I have spoke to about XIII all agree with me in disliking Hope.. I thought the XIII popularity ranks were Snow Lightning/Vanille Sazh Fang Hope

Hope seems pretty popular. I think he's better in the sequels. I only dislike a couple of Duchy members more than him. I'm not sure why Snow is as popular as he is. I preferred Vanille, Fang and Sazh.

Yeah I agree with you about the duchy members but it shows how well they were developed.. They were made to be disliked and I think they served they're purpose.. I cant explain why but I like Snow.. My favorite-least favorites are Vanille Sazh Snow Fang/Lightning ----- ----- ----- ----- Hope

Yes. That's why I love the characters in BD. Dissidia put me off Lightning. She softens up a bit in XIII, but in Dissidia she's nasty again. That's what Dissidia does - it draws on a small character trait even if it isn't important in the character and overdoes it.

Yeah.. I like Lightning and she is given a bad label by people who have only played an hour of the game sadly.. I heard that Jecht is playable in Dissidia :0 Is he good to play as..?

Depends on your playstyle. I prefer fast, long range characters and he's short range. But he is the fastest villain.

I think I might be using him then.. I like fast characters aswell, especially for fighting games Sorry to keep pestering you with questions but do you have advice for versus mode? I keep getting up to rank 7-9 in platinum class and then I get bombarded with hyper speed, warp speed and monster buff and it all becomes too much with the ultimate scores..

I think they are but the enemy hits perfect on 85% of the notes and gets an EX buff every 10 seconds.. It's completely set up.. The enemy will get its health down to flashing red (all while maintaining a perfect score) and then either you or the opponent will get HP swap and then send you either chain attack or judgement..

Oh I also tried the reset level thing with Jecht and it resets all stats and abilities but adds a star to the character and gives an extra 10 CP
