my fanmade Pokemon Skullitor (skull-e-tor) and Craniuraptor (crane-e-u-raptor)

Ok, so, they're not bad. But there are certain things that make little sense to me, as if I had to consider them organisms. I can't really get if Skullitor's skull is actually visible, or it's like Cubone's. If the first, then it's too big, the second, too small. I have no idea why the scissor-claw is even there - it's cool, but definitely not handy [pun intended]. Lovin' the type, though.

As for Craniuraptor, first of all, the name is a mouthful. Crannitor, maybe? [Assuming it's an evolution of Skullitor] The color change is kinda weird, but in a good way, and I just love the head. It's so alien-like. But then again, the not-handy scissor-claw thingy. [Forked tail imo is a great addition] Oh, and, why that specific ability? It doesn't seem to fit at all.

The general idea is all kinds of awesome - There's not a single raptor pokemon - the scissors just ruin it for me. It's cool-looking, sure, but also incredibly dangerous to the beasts themselves. Just imagine one accidentally tripping. Oh, also, out of sheer curiousity: Why the weird white ending things [lack of better words] like Heliolisk has on the end of his frill?

Oh, I also need to say - colors are simply marvelous. The more I look at both Skullitor and Craniuraptor, the more I love the colors, the more they fit in. [Except the black head but it isn't bad either, just... alien.]

@Quilveor the first is correct for Skullitor but i only limited it to the snout beacause the Evolution has the hole head without flesh the scissor thing on the hand was just something i wanted to add i didn't want the design to be to much of a generic Raptor, soo i added that on one of the claws. now that i think about it the name is a bit of a mouthful

the claw is kind of dangerous to them but i see it as working like Garchomps/Scythers the ability is to back up the idea of the arm claw because Night slash, leaf blade etc. has a high crit rate and Super luck supports that

the white flesh bit on Craniuraptor is to show where the flesh and bone separate

if the idea behind the claw really bugs you then i would imagine it as more of a large, bone, glove like thing they have that they took from their prey

Since Craniuraptor's head looks like black latex, you could make Skullitor's 'skull' not white, but maybe black? It would look more natural [in a way fitting for aliens], and definitely more fitting with the evolution. Abilities are based mainly on pokemon physique, not usefulness in combat. Hyper Cutter could work better. As for the scissor... hm, hold on, lemme try to draw my idea.

As for the white flesh bit, for some reason this sounds incredibly awesome, even though it looks a bit like a frill. Maybe if it was more attached to the body? Also for some reason that sentence [as well as both Skullitor and Craniuraptor] looks incredibly metal to me.

not bad. if the idea behind the drawing you did is the other side of Craniuraptors arm then it works pretty well if its a completely new idea for the claw it seems a bit too small. i made the claw large soo it looks and would be more threataning

Yeah, the claws I made are way too small. Though if the scissors were sort of like Wolverine from X-Man [except the whole hiding them part] I'd also like it. Like, there's scissors and under them actual paw.

That's definitely not a bad thing, as I love metal [specifically power metal] music. This means that the whole thing is incredibly awesome. Sorry about the confusion.

thanks. the paw idea actually works really well. not sure if the claw should be detachable (considering survival purposes) if it was it may be a lot less dangerous to them since they would probably only use them in battle instead of having to go everywhere carrying it.

Maybe not detachable, but only sharp on the inside [black spots for Craniuraptor], That could prevent accidental self harm. And, actually working like scissors.
