    well, if your about to approach a mini boss or a boss (last stage of each world), then the bandana waddle dee would throw you a healing assist star item depending on how popular the persons street plaza is. (maxim tomato- very popular medicine bottle- kind of popular other (pudding, ice cream, cherries etc.)- not so popular/new to ktd example below...

    And in the Arenas and Dedede Tour, you can compare their times with yours. If you get a better time, you CAN, but not have to, LAUGH IN THEIR MII FACES AND TAUNT THEM... So, yeah, that's about it. If somebody's got Kirby Fighters Deluxe, you can help that person by giving them the Beetle and Bell abilities to fight with.
