Whoa! It's like a mix of Magicant (bc of the swirly silver cone) and the Cave of the Past ( the regular cone and metal sphere in the background).

Prediction-Since Lucus defended Ness in the trailer, in the comic Lucus will forgive Ness for doing this to him. I think that would be sweet. (But I'm sure you have something epic in mind either way)

i think if you tie the comic to the beginning of the trailer, Lucas does come back to save Ness after Pokémon Trainer saves him but only so to make sure that no one kills ness, so he can have him all to himself!

the real question is why hasn't Lucas' friends and family tried anything to help?

I can't tell if the fact Lucas has that style of eyes rather than the one he has ingame is due to Pokemon Trainer's heart or if that just a coincidence involving your art style.

The surroundings in the last strip looks a lot like a stage from Earthbound or Mother. (I know they're the same)

Oh cool! I'm just looking at your profile and I was trying to figure out the pattern. "Let's see, Roy, Pichu, Pokemon Trainer, Ice Climbers... OH THEY'RE SSB CHARACTERS THAT DIDN'T MAKE THE CUT!!!
