    The solution for most connection problems in any game is to set up a 'dmz' for your console in your router settings [aka 'Exposed Host']. This means that your console is not protected by the routers firewall and thus accepts all incoming data. This includes information from games and consoles of other players. I did this a while ago and never had any problems.
