Hi guys, if you also are missing the voice chat, please react on this post. Perhaps this will bring some attention to the developers. I've heard in Aug. there will be an update. Fingers crossed....

    Ew, no. Splatoon is a unique shooter and does not need that unoriginal function. Also keep in mind that this is Nintendo. Kid friendly. How would they monitor the chat? I mean, have you listened to the people playing CoD?

    Id like to have a seperat party chat for the wii u instead. I want to chat with friends while im in ingame matches.

    I don't miss it personally but i do see how it would be good for the strategic element. But yeah they have to stay kid friendly i guess. Oh wont somebody please think of the children ;)

    Voice chat in CoD is rarely used for strategy, but I do miss chatting with friends. I think it would be OK In Splatoon if limited to Friends only.

    Hi all, I also agree it is impossible to monitor the chat, (I do not miss the trash talk!) but what Joseph is commenting, that it would be very helpfull with the team's strategie. And a friends lobby should be available with voice chat, don't you all agree?

    The friends lobby chat sounds like a great idea. If they allowed friends to talk there would be very few problems with inappropriate language or whatever.
