    Only 30 for repeat playthroughs. But I'm grinding EXP, not coins. I want to get as far as possible on Giratina without items, so I need a MAXed team. I'm getting there... Just a couple more levels to go and I'll be ready, but it takes a while to gain those levels.

    Yeah, the levels. Meowth is for coins, Ampharos is for EXP and Buneary is also for EXP but a lot less (30 per poke instead of 50) - but it's much easier so can be beaten with a weak team.

    Yes, but you need a strong Mega if you want to train a weak team. Since all my Megas are MAXed apart from Venusaur, I can only train three on Ampharos most of the time. But you still get more than training four on Buneary - as long as the MAXed Mega doesn't get the crown. (So don't use MAX Slowbro because he steals the crown.) My current team is here.

    Not really. It only gives 5 EXP. That's 1/10 of what Ampharos gives, so it will take ages. But you can get away with using a weaker team for the first 30-40 levels if you want.

    That's not a bad choice. Sableye isn't the best Mega but it should get the job done.

    Gengar is better than you might think. He evolves really quickly (only 11 icons) and can create combos when he's removed. Try using him on a 3-Pokemon level for huge combos.

    Unless you mean you're still trying to beat Mega Gengar? In that case, Sableye is the only Super Effective you have access to at the moment so it's the best choice.
