    im not going to 100. 50 was hard and i dont want to spend coins every level. rather s rank the remaining 7, then going onto experts. plus i want atleas 12,000 coins for victini as i've yet to catch it.

    Bah, 1-99 are easy itemless. You just need the right MAXed team. I will determine what that team is shortly, which is why I'm grinding a large selection of Darks and Ghosts. You may occasionally lose due to randomness but you'll win often enough to make progress. (Note: This is not my personal experience as I'm not there yet. I'm just going off what I've read.)

    How difficult are the stages from 51 to 100? I always end Giratina with a few hits to die on 50 without items, so I decided to go on leveling and then comeback (or most probably, buy a +Attack).

    Supposedly quite difficult, but definitely possible without items if you have a strong team. I'm very close to finishing my grind. Giratina himself should be MAXed in one or two more Ampharos rounds, and Chandelure won't be far behind. Once Chandelure hits MAX, Absol will probably be at 8 or 9 but I'm going to stop there for now and get back to Giratina. If I find I need Absol later I'll go back.

    Yes. 100% confirmed. There's a Spanish video of Level 100 - search Hirobyte. I could understand it through context even though I don't understand Spanish. Giratina's done! MAX No. 62!

    In any case, if you do struggle, you can beat levels up to 99 with just one item - either +5 turns or Disruption Delay. Nothing else is needed until Level 100.

    He keeps putting ice barriers on the next move. I´m thinking about. If only Zoroark would do his job there... He activates on Ampharos most of the time, but I guess he is scared of a legendary Pokemon. I may replace him with Absol, Missmagius or Spiritomb, to see if they work better.

    I still need a load more coins but I'm having good results with my current Meowth team. I decided after Level 70 to buy both +5 and DD for every level - I was losing too often with only one item. But it is a worthy challenge and I'd only be grinding anyway otherwise.

    did'ya do it? i went into ultimate study mode for the past week and missed the victini stage. got 5700 in meowth (no items) and the caught manaphy first try, darumaka first try, stantler second try, electrike escaped my iron grip.

    Yeah, I did it. Level 100 took two attempts though, which cost me an extra 5300 coins. You didn't buy +5 turns for Weekend Meowth? With a result like that you could have got over 10,000 with it! Several people have reported 5-digit scores with the Mewtwo team recently!
