    ...Also, a Zelda shooter is already a thing that happened. Link's Crossbow Training. It was okay. And Splatoon is hardly a "sell out" - it's hugely inventive and original and you couldn't get further from the "xbox shooter mentality" if you tried. Anyways, thank you.

    The only reason they made Slaptoon, was ta have a shooter of there own that made money and crossbow training was way before the shooter craze. And btw, Slaptoon is far from innovative... It's just a weak rip off of PVZ Garden Warfare. And also btw... Crossbows aren't guns.

    I'm not sure 'selling out' means quite what you think. plus they created a whole new IP, and new IPs hardly ever do well - Splatoon was a huge risk, that has paid off - why begrudge that? And your right, my favourite part of Garden Warfare was painting the ground too, oh wait... (Plus, you said "shooter", you never specified guns, so how was I too know?)

    So tomorrow is King of Red Lions then? :P I'm actually pretty chuffed about this HW was always on my 'When I get a Wii U' radar so a deluxe edition for 3DS is welcome. I know some people are questioning how it'll work but hey, they can make a Dynasty Warriors for 3DS so with a little tweaking, I think it'll go well. As for the bonus stuff, it'll be nice to have it as a timed exclusive then....

    @Martyn; Oh, I didn't realise you were that into it! I can't remember you taking in the thread that I basically ran on ONM. XD In that case, I'm glad you'll get the chance to play it, even if it does end up being a bit of a stripped back version. And I think timed exclusivity would be totally fair, just as long I get to play as Tetra on the Wii U version eventually without buying the game again.

    There was a thread? I probably missed it somehow. Well, I was fond of Sengoku Basara on Wii for its slight OTT-ness so Hyrule Warriors always interested me to some extent.

    Yeah bro, on the Wii U/Wii section. But I guess the lack of a Wii U meant you wouldn't have checked in on it. To be honest, I went a bit OTT myself on that thread, doing in-depth analysis on every famitsu article and japanese website update - you were probably lucky not to be bombarded with all that. XD
