    Just items. I grind coins on Meowth to pay for the items. I still have 6 jewels from before and I was going to use them, but thought I'd save them in case I really need them later. You only need one or two items from level 55ish onwards.

    Hmm. I would recommend using only +5 turns from about 55 or slightly earlier if you're struggling. Switch to Disruption Delay at about 65ish when +5 becomes less reliable (since it's cheaper, the occasional loss is fine but if it gets too much). Then at 75ish start using both. At 100 use Attack+, DD and maybe +5 (just for safety).

    Gengar, Giratina, Yveltal, Zoroark (all MAX). At least until you start needing a DD, at which point I swapped Zoroark out for Absol (8, but ground him to 9 on Saturday with V's help). Absol works well with DD. If your levels are much lower you may struggle - at the very least get them to 5 or 6, as that won't take very long.

    My levels are 8s and 9s, Giratina being the exception. I was trying to make Mega Banette work. Maybe I'll shift away from that strategy. Keeping Absol in mind!

    Yeah, I tried that. I couldn't get anywhere. I even tried Mega Start, thinking it'd work out cheaper than DD and +5... it didn't end well. The disruptions were too much. I thought Banette would remove enough ice with a full Ghost team but... the Shaymins and stray Banettes...

    I see. Now I truly understand. This is a little disappointing though, because that Mega Effect in particular is one of my favorites. Still, Gengar's Mega Effects are cool too. Whatever.

    Have you been training Shaymin? That helps too. Especially since it's neutral rather than NVE. Bonus points because Shaymin's also useful in the competition! Much better than Sceptile and his 0 damage from Vitality Drain!

    I was WONDERING how Vitality Drain played out in competitions! Does Shaymin's training count towards the battles against Giratina, even though it's not officially on your team? (Unless, of course, you want Spinda) If it does, that's radical. Now, why won't Sleep Charm activate...

    Yes, it does. I think some types are immune. I forget the details but I think Rock, Grass and Ghost (and probably others) are immune to sleep, Electric (and maybe Steel) is immune to Paralyse and Quake, etc. Someone compiled a list somewhere I think.
