    After day 18 that won't hold them for long, they jump 4-5 blocks high. And they shoot wall-piercing arrows, so... I don't know. It seems this game is very unforgiving, in a way.

    I know, I had to restart a couple of times because of that, completely stuck. Now it's a bit better, I've found an island of friendly natives, but you can't build your house there, or the natives drop the 'friendliness' in a jiffy, so it's all a bit moot...

    make a Sky-Entrance, the Cannibals won't jump, when there's no wall that they can walk against. My house is quite save with that.

    @Sjors: good idea, but they'll still be able to pierce through walls with their weapons, and to destroy your walls too, they destroy stone blocks easily after level 18. @BetaSword: when you say Sky entrance, you mean having your whole house lifted and the entrance from the ceiling of the house or from the bottom?

    Well, I mean, make a Podest and an entrance with the height 3 Blocks between the ground and the entrance. Then you'll start making a simple staircase, needing you to jump 2 Blocks high, needing you to turn 3times 360. With this gained height, the Arrows shouldn't be able to reach you, and you're safe to wait the night at the top.

    For the steps of the entrane and the stairs, remove any obsolete blocks, especially those at the entrance-area, that might help them reaching the Entrance-Block. For the Staircase, I recommend either doing 3 times a 360 or a straight Line of steps, with you requiring to jump 12Times before reaching the Top, then building away from the entrance(eventually they start digging holes under your pos.)

    Well, they won't jump up to you, if you used an entrance like I described earlier. It seems, that in order for their AI to jump, they'll need a hindrance blocking their way like a simple Wall(I'm currently thinking about the Anti-Spider-Walls, I'm building in Minecraft(PC). But my house has proven me without the Cannibals being able to even reach me with their Arrows (I can even see them turning).
