    Test it in chapter 8, put everyone against the back wall where the wyvern riders are supposed to arrive and behold, they just fly around them. I'm playing on hard btw, but still, it is a lie! Nothing more than a rule of thumb, with exceptions.

    That only works if enemies appear from fort or staircases. If they arrive from offscreen, then they will still appear.

    What J.P said. It only works on stairs and forts. There's a reason why the picture is Chrom standing on a fort, rather then Chrom standing on the edge of the battlefield.

    Both of you make very valid arguments, but it still feels a bit wrong when something the game states turns on you. Ah well, maybe it's just the blind Hard- Classic mode messing with my judgement. Seeing reinforcements which can act immediately was kind of odd after playing FE8 in which they arrive at the end of the turn.

    Yeah, how they arrive in any other mode other than Normal is kinda unfair. "Oh, you put your Pegasus Knight near this fort? Too bad, enemy archer. She's now dead. Problem?"

    Yeah, other modes then Normal are an entirely different story. It's kinda the reason why I either play on Normal or at Newcomer's mode. Otherwise, I would've smacked my 3DS against the wall a thousand times by now......
