I'd really like to know how/why Grima!Robin returned to the Grimleal... He/She was stolen by his/her mother to prevent the Awakening aƒter all. Please explain, IS!

    1. Grima was an unpersonified entity before he became one with Robin in the dark future. 2.Robin's father was Validar not Grima. 3. Robin's (from this time line) memory was erased accidently due to a failed attempt to unite with Grima!Robin. We already know that from the story, but the space between Robin being kidnapped by his/her mother and his/her return to the Grimleal is a mystery.

    Did he actually return to the Grimleal? The "premonition" at the start implies that he's still part of the Shepherds, and as for how he MRT Chrom... Well, my theory is that he still met him in Southtown. I mean, he was found near the town in this timeline, so he was most likely on the way there anyway. Maybe he met Chrom in the town whilst fighting off the bandits?

    The Robin from the future returned (or was returned) to the Grimleal. I thought referring to him/her as Grima!Robin was enough of a hint to make obvious that I was talking about that one… But know that I think about it he/she wearing that Grimleal-coat postulates that he/she is already a Grimleal at the present time… So what was he/she doing in Ylisse? I suppose he/she either was a spy before ↓

    Maybe he/she was a spy on a mission in Ylisse, entered the southern town before the bandits attacked, got attacked by the bandits and was thus forced to team up with Chrom and the shepherds, then somehow grew attached to them and switched sides?

    Maybe those were the only clothes his/her mother owned, considering she was part of the Grimleal herself. I don't think the Avatar joined the Grimleal before meeting Chrom, as Validar mentions in Chapter 6 that he's searched for them for years. As for how Grima!Robin returned... Maybe they returned with Validar once they revived him.

    As to how they became companions, I think, they either put him/her into custody and got to know him/her during negotiations or they asked him/her to join them directly, then Robin wanted to secretly infiltrate their army and started to like them unintentionally.

    I was talking about Grima!Robin's return to the Grimleal in his/her own time line. How he/she united with Grima in particular. You definitely have a point concerning chapter 6... It could also be a rhetorical exaggeration, but that would be out of character for Validar...

    It wasn't actually said, but I figured the Robin from the future must have been a Grimleal shortly before him/her killing Chrom, since he/she has that Robe in his/her size, but as you said he/she might have got it from his/her mother...
