    story mode? well, single player as i call it, does have much more of story to it but... multiplayer also has A story, not alot, but something.

    ok, you should know that when you get further in multiplayer you also unlock more quests i single player. and multiplayer has some exclusive monsters, food upgrades, more materials to trade, and... well i won't spoil it but multiplayer has alot more... late game content.
