Question

Question for Japanese players of Splatoon !

Most of the time, I have to play with Japanese players during my online Splatoon sessions and, most of the time, it is a nightmare in Ranked Matches. I feel convinced that many of you don't understand how game modes work ! This makes matches really tough to win, or even worse, too easy to win. Please understand.

    In RAINMAKER mode, you have to actually TAKE THE RAINMAKER AND BRING IT TO THE GOAL, not inking turf, which is not the main objective of the game mode. In TOWER CONTROL mode, you have to TAKE AS FAST AS POSSIBLE AND DEFEND THE TOWER TO BRING IT TO THE GOAL, not unnecessarily ink turf. THE MORE TEAM MEMBERS ARE ON THE TOWER, THE FASTER IT MOVES !

    Well, I've just played a handful of matches with Japanese players and my opinion has been confirmed : many players from Japan don't understand what to do to win in Zone matches. You're great at inking turf, but not to achieve objectives... When you're alone to take and defend a zone while others are acting stupidly, don't even think about winning the match !
