  the egg of the clone was put inside sarah and af ter some months x-23 was born and as soon as she was born they cut off any form of contact and x-23 was being trained by someone who was the only one who treated x-23 as an human but an scent spray that the scientists made for x-23 if she smelled it she would kill the person that was sprayed and killed her own mentor ( continued )
