    Can't help but find it funny that you call it 'Bomb' when the game calls it 'Blast'. Then again, the icon does look like a bomb, I suppose. Yeah, I'm a guy of probably-definitely-not-really-important-small-details.

    For DB I'd likely go with the Fan club ones for the longer purple sharpness, with the number of hits you make you will likely find the damage is about equal or on par.. plus you'll spend just a little less time sharpening to maintain purple...

    Jasper, bomb or blast however we call it - when you have the skill Bombardier, then the bomb damage of this weapon goes up. I noticed that with Enlightened Blade it won't go up, only with the skill Bombardier.

    Rusty, the longer purple of the other weapon won't make up for the way higher attack of the Relic weapon and with the long white sharpness you don't even need S+1. Purple has a little higher attack than white, with DB the sharpness goes down quickly anyway.

    Well yeah, blast is unaffected by element atk up and status atk up. Enlightened Blade does both of these (alongside Awaken) so it doesn't affect blast. Interestingly, Critstatus DOES affect blast. I feel like the Capcom can't seem to make up its mind on what blast actually is.

    yes that's right, it's a weird mix. Both skills Bombardier and Status Crit. work (but not Status+). Enlightened Blade effects element and status but doesn't work for blast. Maybe Capcom will be clearer on this in future MH titles.

    I like how blast is a mixed bag.. not an element, or a bomb, or a status. I wish Artillery G o d affected it, could imagine a Blast CB/GL being insanely powerful !

    true but it's difficult to get Artillery Gød and Bombardier in 1 set. I have a Talisman with Bombardier +10 Sharpness +8. That's great in a Honed Blade set.
