Why are people come online with 2 people together, while the second player don't move a tiny finger on the race? I really don't get it. Is there a trick behind?

    There is, 2 playee it make the race more easy in world tour and stuff, and also they can store 1 more item with the team thingy...

    but yeah, with all honesty, i hate when there are guest players, makes the track's model quality bad, more "glitchy", and bumping with other players can start a pinball minigame really easy

    Normally when I race against a guest, the (1) player attempts to constantly hit me with items and letting the main player drive off, a bit of a cruel tactic, but only one time I lost like that.

    I know even if you don't do anything you'll get experience so some people use a 2nd controller and race like normal to unlock mods faster than just using 1 character then moving onto the next.

    Some do it for points. If the guest and the main player have 1000 rating, the guest will sit and do nothing to let the main player win, giving them 10 to 35 points without really trying.

    Sometimes both players sit there so the main player can get free points when they didn't even race. They will usually do that until they star losing points, or when the get to the rating they wanted.
