    You have to be directly touching the opponent to have rest work. But if you miss, you'll be very vulnerable. Try to put them to sleep and then walk up to them and use rest. The higher percentage they're at, the higher they'll be launched. If they're at like, 79% or higher, then it's almost always an instant KO.

    I like to use Rest in a combo with Sing. When using Rest, push them a bit to reassure closeness.

    it is a very small window ''counter''. use it when your hitbox is in the same place as your opponent. they dont have to attack, it just has to touch them. the final smash is good for pushing your opponent off the stage and covering a large part to prevent them from recovering

    That happens sometimes, but try again and you'll eventually get it. As for her final smash, it's best used at the edge of a platform with your opponent on the side of you, so they can't recover. And if they touch you while you're about to shrink back down, they get launched.
