Accomplishment

I decided to play through this on a whim. All in all, I think it combines some of the most creative and interesting ideas in a platform game with some of the absolute worst ideas in a platform game. From the horrendous Kiddy Kong to the last few levels of the game, it feels like all this game needed was someone to say "no" to the design team every now and then.

    Thanks, Zat! You too! Some of the stuff in the game is really cool and it feels like the creative team got to really let loose. But, someone should've told them that the lightning level was just not fun and maybe should've been reworked into something enjoyable. And, I think it would've been more memorable if it was a game staring Dixie and Donkey Kong. Kiddy has left me emotionally scarred.

    I agree. Some stages were a bit too easy, others were even kinda boring. DKC2 pushed every idea to the max in every level. In DKC3, the penguin stage for example, was from start to finish always the same structure. Maybe the first two games have set the bar too high ;)
