    I think you need to have each other added on 3ds and use area nav and click on the button that says bases. The white areas is the base you didnt explore and it also gives you a hint were it is.

    Also the passerby method works. After Every 8 hours you can go online then go to buzz nav click the mail box click yes for everything then go to area nav and the base button and white is areas with base you didnt see and you need to find it

    My base is kinda hard and luck base because you need the teleport to the right spot and once you get to me you might step on the panel that puts you to the front of the base were you enter. But dont worry that panel only works once so next time you can go to me safely. Also some panels the one with arrow and its blue you can step on it 5 times then you can cross passed it.
