Remember those Aegis+/Counter Wyvern Rider? After three resets it seems like luck is finally on my side, and just like this, Vasto gets crit by 23 damage (pre Aegis+). That's 34 damage in total, and there is another round coming straight at him after this one. Archers are viable in L+!
