    This isn't the best track to get used to firehopping on as it is a very technical track and uses lots of other techniques (soft drifting and demon sliding, talk to me when you want tips on those) throughout the run. My advice is to do a simple track to practice frehopping; Royal Raceway is a good one. Once you've mastered firehopping, begin to try demon sliding (before that just hop in a straight

MK8 is an EXTREMELY technical game, and there are places (most downhill sections) where firehopping isn't faster, so you do 3 hops, but you hold your drift for a little bit after you touch the ground. At a lot of ramps, it is better to drift over then and get a drift, then demon slide etc. I recommend watching the WRs at MK8 Records on Youtube, or downloading

    them in-game, because they show you where drifting off ramps is faster, where to drift a little bit after firehopping, etc. If you continue to time trial this course, I would recommend watching the world record, aand try to get your score down to about 1:44 or 1:43. And don't try to get an orange boost (SMT, blue boost is an MT) on te 1st corner and 4th corner.
