    There's still time to grind a few coins! If it gets tight, throw an Attack+ at it if you can. That should secure it!

    I hope that doesn't mean you have bought jewels for previous competitions? I just want to say that's completely unnecessary since everything you need can be ground, and I won't do it because I don't want to support the free-to-play model... now if there was something worth paying for I might reconsider, but jewels are very expensive for what you actually get.

    No, no.. it means that I didn't buy items before playing, as I once tried for the Lucario competition (uselessly: I couldn't create a better record than the one I made without items - so I decided to stop buying, mostly) I never bought anything with real life money :) Thanks for your worry though!

    That's good to know! There was one person on the American community who spent $25 on the Venusaur one and $45 on one in April. She didn't come anywhere near placing. I felt sorry for her as she seemed not to know any better (she asked other people if she would win or not, so she didn't have a clue...)

    Woah.. those are A LOT of money to spend on a free game... I feel sorry for her too :/ I wonder whether anyone close to her noticed.. like parents or friends? I hope someone will tell her soon to stop misusing real life money like this...

    No items? That's great!! :D Well, I got the stone the last time around, but I didn't place in the top 15' this time. I figured it's not worth wasting tons of hearts and time for a chance of one extra jewel :)
