    It runs really good on my connection. Hm. Search the internet for Wii U Nat and you will find something that might help. You need to 'tell' your internet router to send all the data to the Wii U. Just google for it. I hope this will help :-)

    I searched already for suitable ports to forward (couldn't find any), set the Wii U on a DMZ (didn't work), tried to config the w-lan settings on my router. Nothing has changed. I'm pretty sure it is a NAT/DNS and/or port thing since I can have 8 hour online sessions on other consoles as well. Guess I will need to get the ethernet adapter tomorrow

    I'm not sure the LAN adapter will help. It might as well be a problem with Nintendo's servers. I got disconnected several times today and my network is in perfect shape. I work as a system administrator for over 12 years now so I know what I am talking about when I say it is not me when I get disconnected ;-D You could try changing your WiFi channel to a less crowded one. Update router firmware...
