×2 POINTS TRICK! Here is an example with Lv. 9 Chesnaught! His regular damage is 88. With Hitting Streak activating 4× in a row, it's 176. With the trick, both the horizontal AND vertical matches are boosted by Hitting Streak for an extra 176 damage!

  • Immediately afterwards, the vertical match is counted AGAIN for 96 damage - that's 88 ×1.1 combo multiplier. For full details, see my Favourite Post! (Read all the comments)

  • Ce n'est pas un trick,tu ne prends que des Pokémons avec la capacité spéciale "Attaque en série"(nom français)Ce qui augmente les dommages lors des combos.

  • No, it is a trick. Normally, the vertical match is not affected by the ability, but there are certain setups where it IS affected. This is one of them. Read my Favourite Post.

  • It works with every ability that boosts damage, including Crowd Control (Fr: Horde) for devastating effects.

  • ok

  • do you mean that the skills of chesnaught react at both lines ?

  • Yes. So normally, when you do a cross-match, the skill only affects the first match, and the second match is just regular damage. However, if you look at the screenshot, you can see BOTH lines are glowing (affected by the ability). Six setups work. They are listed in my Favourite Post. Try it with Crowd Control!

  • will it everytime works when I cross 2 lines and the effect is used ?

  • No. Only the six setups in my Favourite Post will work. All other setups don't. Even if the ability doesn't activate, you still get extra damage with the right setup (watch carefully and you'll see extra numbers appear briefly).

  • Here, one more example. Delphox's Pyre. 96 extra damage from the vertical match this time!

  • Then the 105 damage you normally get from the vertical match if I wasn't doing the trick.

  • The setups are easy enough to remember - the horizontal must be on the bottom of the vertical. If it's a direct match, the vertical can only be 3 high. Therefore the setups are J, L and upside-down T shapes, with any length horizontal.

  • All calculations are rounded down in this game. Sorry, I should have made that clearer.

  • This is off topic, but is it normal that I am in the top 500 in the competition without groudon?

  • Yes. Many players just aren't very good. On my old 3DS a pathetic score of 2,500 was enough to beat thousands of players. Relatively few players are actually good at timed levels AND with the best MAXed team.

  • What stage is this?

  • The trick works on any level at all. I was using Ampharos (130). Or if you were asking what we were just talking about, that was the Mega Manectric competition.
