Question

When playing the unlocked SNES stages, do you also get the classic items? Is the feather in this game? If not how do you take the shortcut in Ghost Valley 1? Thanks!

    No, there's no feather item in this game at all. There's no way to take the shortcut on Ghost Valley 1 anymore either, though I wish you could. It's possible, though very difficult, on Ghost Valley 2. Also, Bowser Castle 2's alternate path is now just a dead end. Donut Plains 3, however, now has a jump pad on the broken bridge, making it a lot easier.

    Ah thanks! Odd that they didn't just put a speed boost and jump pad there to make the Ghost Valley 1 shortcut viable. Oh well, just another reason why the original Super Mario Kart is the best :]
