    Pokemon -1 removes a pokemon from the grid, if you take 4 pokemon with you and use this bonus, only your first 3 pokemon will appear. However, some stages contain 1 additional pokemon, in this case, it will remove this pokemon (you'll have 4 instead of 5 pokemon in the grid).
