    And here is my team. When I get more hearts I'm ready to start. With those 99 999 coins and all lv.max team I'm definitely going to win that venusaurite. Leveling up my team in Ampharos stage and playing Meowth stage over and over again is the best way to success in these competitions.

    It went a little better. I think that is enough for winning. I'm not that good in these time based stages because usually I panic and then it doesn't end well. But I can still have time to improve that score if I need to.

    I'm so horribly out of practice. I can't do this. I even tried practising on my spare 3DS but I just can't do these levels. I mean of course I'll place, but I can't see myself getting in the top 5 this time. Oh well... if I can see it's not happening I'll save the rest of my coins.

    I see you have the same problem with timed stages like me. But you are still better than me, I got only 20739 points with both items and maxed team, the same like yours. Still competitions aren't the worst, trying to catch Genesect was the most horror for me, I wasted a lot of coins and nerves (but now with Super Catch Power it will be easier).

    Do you honestly think that first score would have been enough? There are still 6.5 days left and already the cutoff is much higher than usual. It doesn't help that we only have 10,000 stones whereas America gets 20,000 - but we have almost as many players here so it's very imbalanced. Americans don't need such a high score to place.

    I was little worried with that 18575 score because there is still 7 days left and I had already dropped over 1500 places in ranking (from top 300 to top 1800). And these competitions get worse during end. Over 100000 people joined competition last time and there is not near that much yet. I think that pause trick is not working this time because top scores are 3 times smaller than usual.

    I tried to use it on my spare 3DS, which is only at level 12 for Check-ins so my team is awful. But I got 3400 playing normally and 3900 with the pause trick. It's weird... I think it is possible to abuse it but very difficult. Not being able to see the screen is a big problem.

    I don't know does it work because I'm not going to use it anyway. I'm satisfied with my current score but I'm still ready to try again if I need to. But I will wait until the last day of competition before trying again. Now I just need to gather my coins back and level up my other pkmn.

    Last I checked the cut-off was about 12,000 so I'd have said it would be enough. If anyone scores 18,000 and doesn't get a stone then, well, I've been proved wrong.

    The illusion of being 'pushed down' is because people with already above-average scores are going for higher scores so the same 5,000 or so are just changing places and there'll be a gap between them and the lower 5,000. Just my two cents.
