Se trataría de tener como base a Combusken para emplear su habilidad de aumento de ataque al acompañarlo de Heatran y Blaziken (también es válido Moltres). Con esos tres en el equipo el Mega realmente daría lo mismo, ya que la puntuación depende de hacer el combo único para que el Mega sólo ‘‘limpie’’ el tablero y facilite las combinaciones. A cambio, un solo combo en 1 minuto es bastante difícil.

Añado que la denominación de ‘‘estrategia japonesa’’ se la he dado yo porque hasta ahora sólo ellos la han utilizado, ya que tanto los americanos como nosotros los europeos nos estamos guiando por seguir la estrategia del Poder Horda de Genesect y Heracross, cuando con dicha estrategia y un único combo se pueden hacer perfectamente más de 30.000 puntos. Pero quedan 8 días de competición todavía :)
