  • Hi Peter, does your brother still have a SNES console and can he confirm if it was PAL or a US/Japanese NTSC import? He would be very keen to see the Time Trial World Rankings and compete there. I have the World Record vids on youtube 55''97 on NTSC and 57''90 PAL. There are other cool tracks like Vanilla Lake 2 which can be run sub 50 seconds. See my activity feed for various photos and...

  • Hi, im his brother & yea i got 59 seconds on mario circut 1 in the mid 1990's, before the N64 came out, when we used to play mario karts to death on the super. No i dont have a Super console now, but i do have ever other console.. Im hopeless at playing super mario karts now, the controls are terrible. So bizarre how the track spins & moves around you rather than through it, because its so 2D.

  • It was PAL & on an australian console.

  • If it was PAL you would have been doing off road boosting then? Because the tool assisted run TAS limit is around 1'00'' mid for non-nbt driving. Unless this was on the NTSC mode. I would be very keen to see what you can run here, shame that this is NTSC tho. You should get a PAL console again, can compete vs the Australian Time Trial Records too on the site. Really fun! Did u see any of my vids?
