Question

Will I have to purchase and clear out one-star gear, to make room for more types of two-star gear, and later, three-star gear?

    As you level up, more two-star or three-star gear will appear. Atleast that's what i have experienced.

    Yes. it's after level. You could always order it, and get it from Spyke the next day, but that costs loads. Like, 10000 for two-star gear. But i did it, and it already had the first random ability!

    yes as you go through both the single player and mp games you will unlock new gear and some specials that you can purchase, you retain your old gear but any new gear you will need to rank up an open the special abilities to get the use out of them apart from the way they look

    Here, I have a screenshot of what shops can be like at level 10. That one with a cost of 2000 is two-star. And so is the one I bought.

    Mister Tasty Fish, if you didn't know: The gear leveling is seperate from the character leveling, but gets the same amount of points at the end of the battle. But I'm certain you knew!

    Yeah I knew, but as you move up the ranking system better gear becomes available to purchase and 3 star gear takes longer to rank up to earn the perk but in the end is worth the effort

    Yes. But of course there are amiibo. They do give you gear, and money! But the gear isn't fully three-star, some of it is two-star. There's a schoolgirl outfit (Inkling Girl, Charger challenges), a samurai outfit (Inkling Boy, Roller) and a power suit (Inkling Squid, Kraken and Limited Ink). Meh.

    Thank you all for replying. Yet, I still think my original question has not been fully answered. Will my unpurchased one-star gear, all of which occupy one sale spot, block new two-star gear from getting a spot in the store? There are only six sale slots in each store, and there seems to not be any room for new two-star gear in neither store.

    Here is a screenshot from clothing store. Five out of six slots are occupied by one-star gear! I want them to disappear, but I don't want them in my inventory.

    I think I understand now,what is shown is what u can purchase now based on your level, but they will change as you move up the levels as I have found what is there one minute can change and 2* and 3* stuff will show up 4 u to buy, 3*is Wat u want as u get more perks

    What is in the store changes every day. So, at one point there might be no two-star gear, and another there will. Still, it depends on level how good gear can be there. Level 10 players can have two two-star gear in each shop, atleast from my experience. I hope you finally can understand. But it has been fun helping you! :D
