Lon'qu is a potato. Gaius is The Cookie Monster. Nowi loves cherry pie. Robin is a cow pretending to be a man (ASDF reference!). Sorry, it's just the "Lucina is not straight" post comments are cracking me up.

  • how dare anyone hope a character isnt straight tbh

  • @JP To be honest, it was just pathetic that you lot were fighting over headcanons. Sometimes headcanons don't really need proof, but IMAGINATION. Take the confusing ship of Maxie and Archie in ORAS, for instance. Good imagination there on the shipper's part. But yeah, it was pathetically hilarious.

  • Lucina could be in the closet, or she could be bi/pan, or she really is straight. Imagination is key to headcanons. Another ORAS example, I headcanon Maxie hates water. Zero proof of it, but it's my headcanon. Though Sam probably should've written his post differently, 'cause everything seemed to be one whole misunderstanding regarding the post content.

It wasn't the fact that it was headcanons they were talking about that annoyed me. Having a headcanon is fine. It was how he basically stated it as fact with no proof whatsoever than annoyed me and got the whole thing started.

  • Now then, I don't mind civil discussions, but if this turns into a battlefield, I'm ignoring you. Also, no copy-pasting song lyrics. Not cool.

I'm not trying to make it into a battlefield, and I wasn't trying to in that post (if that was directed at me). I tried to have an intelligent discussion and point out how him stating it as fact was inaccurate due to there being no evidence for it, but the whole thing got blown out of proportion. If you want to have an intelligent discussion about it, I would be more than happy to oblige.

  • Sorry, JP, Miiverse didn't load your post! Anyway, yes the post should've been worded differently, or proof should be given. However, for headcanons like this, where proof is scarce, I'd say it's more head-based.

  • Yeah, Miiverse is really laggy today, so problems may arise. Apologies for any inconveniences.

I am going to say this now; Lucina is MOST LIKELY straight due to there being absolutely no evidence to the contrary. HOWEVER. As many have said, she may be closet bi. That's a very big maybe, though, as there is nothing to support it aside from it never being explicitly stated in-game. If someone wants to believe that she is, that's fine, but stating it as canon isn't.

... Those are my thoughts on the matter. If you want me to explain in any more detail, feel free to ask. And Chloe, don't worry about it. Miiverse lags a lot at times, it can't be helped.

  • Yeah, that's my point, but better worded (I'm working off a couple hour's sleep). But about canon, I'd say Sam just worded it wrong, because proof-wise, there's nothing about Lucina's sexuality bar her S-Supports only being with guys. But some head-canons are based on imagination only, so I say that's probably the case here.

  • Also, I see your point. And Miiverse needs to sort out it's lag issues.

Yeah, like how people headcanon Palucina. How you word something is key. It gives off completely the wrong impression if you word something wrong, and causes all sorts of issues. I wish more people on the Internet understood this.

  • Agreed. Wording is key, and arguements are gonna happen if you cannot use your words right. Was the original "Lucina's not straight" post deleted? I was gonna go back and have a little chuckle, but it's gone.

It was adminned. I think it may have been reported, but I'm not sure. I was actually considering reporting it myself, not because of the post, but because of how hateful some of the people on his side in the comments were being. Seriously, you should have seen some of their comments. I decided against it, tho. I just opted to try and ignore it.

Wait. The internet has RULES!? j/k OMG. I just realised. Lon'qu's Barracks entry says he's "The deftest potato peeler". Add that in with your post, and Lon'qu is now the best at peeling himself. Sorry. Just thought I'd mention that.
