    The fact that after the losses sustained by the Wii U's poor sales perfomance he took a 75% pay cut just so he could keep people in their jobs. He could have easily kept the shareholders happy by sacking a load of people but instead he did the right thing. He truly cared about the company and all the people working there.

    Yup. That's why I'll always remember him as being such a lovely and kind person rather a game dev. That's not to say that his skills as a game dev isn't important because he was brilliant in that field.
