You know...it's taken me a long time but i've finally realized that Splatoon is a luck based game. If you're consistently paired with bad people on your team (and the "randomization" isn't random at all, same people get put with the same people before every match) then you've already lost. You can go from A rank to B- if you happen to be unlucky enough (and it's not hard to be unlucky...)
