    really? well here's a tip to make it easier: while holding the shell, press down to use it a the helmet. that doesn't make you loose a life when you get hit.

    how I cleared it: as soon as I landed on the spikes with the helmet, I suddenly jumped on the shell, and then I didn't hit to top of the one way block, and then I made it over.
