    You misunderstood some things. The Everstone is used to pass on the Nature of whoever holds it to the children. You're absolutely right though, in thinking that a regular Torrent Greninja cannot make Protean babies. You either need a female from the Froakie Line with Protean, or have a male Protean breed with a Ditto for a shot at Protean babies.
