    Have you tried using other characters? If the characters you use match the song source, you get a 30 rhythm crystal bonus per member. If the party is all one gender, you get a +10 bonus for that.     do that is to play the dailies every day, found on the song select menu. At the very least you should rotate your leader around. The lead character gets a bonus to experience earned, which is probably why Lightning is far ahead level wise. :S
