    It would be better to look at an online or youtube guide of what IVs are. The guy in the Battle Resort gives you hints on what your IVs are but it wont help much unless you know how to translate what he says.

    I meant a guide that tells you what IVs and EVs and all of that are, not an IV calc. IV calculators wont work in some situations and thats probably what happened to you. If you have a higher leveled pokemon that has battle experience, you wont be able to figure out its IVs by using a calculator unless you know what its EVs are or have a way to reset its EVs.
