    U definitely should soft reset for shiny reshiram, soft resetting on 6th gen games r alot easier and reshiram isn't shiny locked anymore so go for it :D

    I gave up after killing the shiny. Just caught a non-shiny, as well as Mesprit and Cobalion. I now have all 3 Swords of Justice ^-^

    i caught my deoxys in a pokeball when it was paralyzed and full health cause i couldn't be bothered weakening it cause it kept using recover lol xD

    yeah but it'll sometimes lead to it using struggle i didn't want to use a masterball on it i'm saving it for shiny legendaries :D

    Hmm, I'd use a Level 100 Smeargle with Thunder Wave, Hold Back/False Swipe, Disable and possibly Confuse Ray or a move which raises the user's evasiveness

    I had my raichu use thunder wave on deoxys and weakened it abit and started throwing pokeballs at it until i caught it

    Ah XD I use my shiny Lanturn for legends. 6iv, Calm, EV'd in HP and SpDef, rest on SpAtk. XD
