Okay so to explain what I did. With no way to heal Vaike he wouldn't have survived the Dark Mage, Ricken would then also be killed by the Cavaliers. Doing it this way at least alows one of them to live, though it does mean we lose Ricken... Hisako: You survived longer than expected... a miracle child, I hope you grow up safe in your new world... sorry I couldn't save you...

@Jasper As I said, Dark Mage would've killed Vaike in one hit, Ricken wouldn't have survived the rest of the enemy turn. This got the at least on person out alive... not the person I would want but it's better than them both being dead right?
