I saw what I believe to be a leaked line-up of information about titles covered in a Nintendo Direct on the 27th. Among the Wii U games is Fire Emblem: Grima's Vengeance.

I think it's likely going to be post Awakening (obviously) but it might not feature any of the parent characters, for sake of preserving the pairing situation, since the children are more likely going to be a bigger focus now.

Also, unless they're taking the fact that Chrom landed the final blow on Grima as canon, the title itself already makes no sense... Also, you said you liked Okami... it says something about an Okami remake for New 3DS...

@Gary Hair colour/class pool. It'll probably be set 100s of years after Awakening... but not ruling out the possibility that it's a prequel-sequel.

Being serious and strategic about this, the situation could still have gone either way regarding the endgame, I mean, Grima could possibly survive due to faith from his followers in the same way the Avatar survives with his/her bonds of friendship.

It's a form of ritual suicide performed by extreme math calculations. ...On a less humorous side, seppuku was usually done for protesting or keep one's honor, and could be done by either decapitation or self-evisceration. @Becca Let's hope, but I'd STILL prefer 3D Okami. Better game overall imo.

And speaking of games we haven't heard a bit of yet... I'm more hyped for Layton 7 than I ever was for anything. I'm also really concerned about it.

@Pontus Shin Megami X Fire Emblem Emblem seems very cool, it's pretty disarming that FE is a tactical while SMT is mostly turn-based combat, so I'm kind of eager to see how it goes...

It's... an interesting challenge for Atlus and IS, to be sure...

@Angel well professor layton vs ace attorney happened and combined that they and had some professor layton and some ace attorney in it. so maybe in this game they have some shin megami tensei and some Fire emblem?

@Ponuts: I was thinking of having Fire Emblem's strategy elements on the battlefield, while having the battles be turn-based. That said, I know nothing about Shin Megami Tensei...

I've also been watching most of the series all day. I feel like I have to go out of my way to see my friends. One did offer for me to go round but I declined for laziness reasons.

I'm surprised that Blaize hasn't commented anything on the topic. Yarne seems like a character worth bringing back into things and it'd be nice to see what's happened after a few years.

similar: a FE sorta game, with worldmap and tacticals level, with turn-based "skirmishes" a-la-Megaten when squads/map unit fought. It seems the most reasonable crossover: another thing might be recruitment related, like possibility to recruit unit on map a-la-FE, but with the Demon Recruitment system from Megaten. Uhm. Also, I was thinking: WE HAD A *SORT OF* FE-ISH MEGATEN. It's called ->

Devil Survivors 2. The game feature both a tactical grid for units to move into, and classic turn-based Megaten fights. It's probably the most feasible crossover. Also, if I might... I checked the link. And as much ad I want it, and I still believe Gary... I think it's probably a fake. Too many "questionable" titles + Error on "Xenoblade Chroniclhes".
