White Mage is a must-have. Monk is very useful too, as is Valkyrie. I would test each job out to see what works best. There will be no repercussions for doing this.

I've had Ringabel as a monk since the start, I recently changed Edea from a knight to a Valkyrie, Tiz is a spell fencer, and Angès is a summoner and was previously a white mage.

Spell Fencer/Ranger is an awesome combo at the point you're at. Maybe level Tiz as a ranger?
