Captain Toad is geïntroduceerd in Super Mario Galaxy 2. Daar werd de Captain Toad schip gebouwd! En in Super Mario 3D World introduceerde Captain Toad paar mini levels! Vandaar uit hebben ze besloten om Captain Toad de solo-game te gaan maken! zo zijn ze op het idee gekomen! Bovendien Captain Toad en Yoshi is een onderdeel van Mario! en Mario komt weer van Donkey kong 1 af (snes) super nintendo!!!

De Toads zelf bestonden al langer! maar hadden nooit echt een baas gehad! In dit spel kregen de toads Captain Toad en Toadette aangewezen! Ik hoop dat ik je genoeg informatie heb gegeven over Captain Toad en zijn andere Toadjes! En oja ps: Toadette is Captain Toad's vriendinnnetje!!!!
