    You can't reduce the damage he deals. You'll have to grind and get your HP up so that you can survive it.

    I don' t know your difficulty but bring a white mage or a healer as you like for profiteur damage, it can't be reduced, and one or two magic users. i dud it hard and had lots of problem hitting them. Remember to steal too, really good stuff!

    monk and thief are fast. so they can quikly revive anyone. also. only attack profiteur if he has 1BP otherwise he will defend which greatly reduce the damage you do to him.
