    That's the weapon durability. It tells you how many uses the weapon has left. Falchion does not have this issue due to being an unbreakable weapon forged in the fires of Naga's breath and created from one of her fangs.

    A number beside any weapon indicates the number of uses left. Make sure you have spares for when it breaks!
